Hey folks,

I'm packing up my life for a move to a new city and state!

These past few weeks or so I've been in talks with an artist named William Joyce. Check him out! He is an incredibly talented and prolific children's book author/illustrator. He has got some new film and children's book work coming up, LIKE A LOT OF WORK, and I'm moving to Shreveport LA to work with him in his studio. I'm gonna miss austin, (and breakfast tacos) but it's a gig I could't pass up. There is a lot happening really fast, but I've got some art to show you so I'll put that up soon.

An Inspirational quickie

Howdy,

the insightful and ever helpful James Gurney made this post and it got me to thinking. I could totally use a list like that! Many times after a couple hours of noodling I realize I've forgotten to use my brain. I immediately stickie-noted "BLAST" to my workstation.

I went through some old files on my now ancient desktop computer, and found some notes on painting that I had gotten from someone back at school. They've been helpful tidbits to skim through every time I sit down to paint. I thought I would pass that along in case anyone else out there feels like they forgot something, and need a little encouragement.
