ooh vereh sexxay, I like it way better then your first idea. Couple of design choices you may want to take into consideration, firstly, having a general architectural style. I know you can walk downtown and see all kinds of diffrent stuff but it might be a neat idea to consider adding elements that are the same in all of them, (for instance shielding from radiation, or storms) it would make it look like its one thing ya know? Another may be to consider (for story writing aswell) a kind of metropolis thing where you have the upper echelons of society on the top most floors and the poor on the bottom, or in the case of these storms, the rich are deep inside and protected and the poor are unprotected on the fringe or something. My third point is to take transport into considertaion, how do you get from sky scraper a to skyscraper b, monorail, cable car, teleporter, bridges, hover cars, little gliders, you have to go all the way down before you can go up on the other side. My fourth and final point is what if there was a deployed mode for portection, where it could dig itself into the ground and raise its shields or bunker itself up somehow to protect itself from storms incase of weather emergencies? Just some ideas, good work sir.
